I have been working as a conference interpreter and French translator since 2019 and am based in Nice, France. Before relocating to Nice in early 2026, I had been working since 2021 as a court-authorised translator and sworn interpreter for the German language, appointed by the Higher Regional Court (Oberlandesgericht) of Cologne. Additionally, I love interpreting foreign delegations’ visits, tours, audits as well as political and cultural meetings.
As a Frenchwoman, I moved to Germany with my family when I was a child. This way, I learned early on what it meant to get accustomed to what then was a foreign culture and language. As time went by, what was foreign became familiar and one place called “home” became two. Thanks to my dual-citizenship - German and French - and the many encounters my profession comes with, I feel a deep sense of connection to both countries and well versed with the intricacies, languages and cultures of either one.
Outside of my professional life, I find sports, especially Judo, to be a valuable counterbalance. Regular training not only improves my physical fitness, but promotes mental fortitude and discipline, which helps me stay focused on performance and delivering on my goals.
